Paul Dowsett’s lifelong passion for ‘green’ design and his enduring commitment to sustainable best practices has inspired his work and fueled his career, establishing him as a respected expert in his field and a trusted resource for clients and colleagues alike. Since graduating with distinction from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture in 1987, Dowsett has brought his vision to a wide range of projects, from off-grid single-family homes to food science and healthcare facilities. As a principal at Scott Morris Architects for 14 years, Dowsett was able to develop his practice and deepen his commitment.

In 2009, Dowsett and entrepreneur David Daniels established sustainable.TO Architecture + Building. The company’s mission is to see clearly through the dense fog of technologies, products and philosophies to provide realistic, achievable and affordable resource and energy-efficient design/build solutions for home and workplace.
